Ingredients
- ½ cup rava / Suji
- ½ cup rice flour
- ¼ cup maida
- 1 tbsp curd
- 1 tsp salt
- 4 cup water
- 1 green chilli, finely chopped
- 1 piece ginger, finely chopped
- ½ tsp pepper, powder
- 1 tsp cumin / jeera
- 1 tbsp curry leaves, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp coriander, finely chopped
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- Oil for roasting
Directions
- In a mixing bowl take ½ cup rava, ½ cup rice flour and ¼ cup maida.
- And add 1 tbsp curd, 1 tsp salt and 2½ cup water.
- Mix well making sure there are no lumps.
- Next add 1 green chilli, 1 inch ginger, ½ tsp pepper, 1 tsp cumin, 2 tbsp coriander; few curry leaves and 1 onion.
- Add 1½ cup water and prepare a watery consistency batter.
- Keep the batter for 20 minutes making sure the rava has absorbed water.
- Then after check consistency and add more water if required.
- Now dosa batter is ready to pour on hot tawa.
- Spread the mix on pan in circular motion to make thin dosa.
- Serve dosa with tomato chutney or coconut chutney.
