Ingredients
- 3 tomato (based on how many people we need to serve)
- 3 red chilli
- 1 piece ginger
- ½ cup rava / suji, coarse
- ½ cup rice flour
- ¼ cup wheat flour
- 3 cup water
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp coriander, finely chopped
- 1 tsp jeera
- ½ tsp pepper, crushed
- 1 tsp salt
- Oil for roasting
Directions
- In a blender take 3 tomatoes, 3 dried red chilli and 1 piece ginger.
- Blend to smooth paste without adding required water.
- Transfer the tomato masala paste into large mixing bowl.
- Now add ½ cup rava, ¼ cup wheat flour and ½ cup rice flour.
- Further add 2 cup water and mix well.
- Next add 1 onion, 2 tbsp coriander, 1 tsp cumin, ½ tsp pepper and 1 tsp salt.
- Allow for 20 minutes or until rava absorbs water.
- Further if required add 1 cup water and mix well.
- Prepare a watery consistency batter like rava dosa batter.
- Now pour the dosa batter over very hot tawa.
- Cook for 1 minute on medium flame.
- Finally serve tomato dose with tomato chutney or coconut chutney.
